About Alicja
West London based Artist, Alicja Mazur discovered her passion for the arts whilst studying at The Academy of Fine Art in Gdansk Poland, graduating with distinction in 1987.
Since then visual media has remained a constant in her life, leading to projects in theatre costume and set design, as well as interior design work in her native Poland and the UK.
A keen supporter of her local artistic community, Alicja displays her work regularly and has curated exhibitions of work by Polish artists at the Polish centre in Hammersmith.
She currently teaches private students from her studio in West London, and continues to produce her own work, a selection of which can be viewed in the Gallery above, whilst also finding time to indulge her passion for creating bespoke jewellery.
